Cat 2D E-Fence for Excavators
Create predefined operating boundaries around the excavator to help keep the machine away from traffic, structures, overhead obstacles and underground utilities. When the machine reaches a set boundary, 2D E-Fence automatically stops the affected machine motion.
People Detection
Intelligent cameras help identify people within a machine's hazard zone and provide progressive visual and audible alerts based on proximity. The system can distinguish people from other objects and detect multiple workers around the machine.
Rear Object Detection
Give wheel loader operators greater awareness of what's behind the machine. Radar sensors detect objects within designated proximity zones while a rear camera provides added visibility from the cab.

Available for compatible Cat medium wheel loaders, the Cat Collision Mitigation System uses an integrated combination of cameras and sensors to monitor the area behind the machine and help operators react to potential hazards.
Depending on machine configuration, the system can provide:
Collision Warning: Visual and audible alerts notify the operator when an object enters a detection zone behind the machine.
People Detection: Intelligent camera technology identifies people separately from other objects and adjusts alerts based on their proximity to the machine.
Motion Inhibit: When a hazard is detected behind a stationary machine, the system can help prevent the operator from engaging reverse until conditions are reassessed.
Automatic Emergency Braking: If a collision potential is detected while reversing and the operator does not respond, the system can automatically apply the brakes.
