Enhanced Sign-In to PCC with One-Time-Password

Users can now sign in to Parts.cat.com (PCC) using a One-Time Password (OTP) sent to their registered email address or phone number, offering a faster, more convenient passwordless sign-in experience. Users also have the flexibility to continue signing in with their password if preferred.

Note: OTP sign-in may not be available to users with multi-factor authentication (MFA) enabled, who have not verified their email address or phone number, or who are located in countries where SMS-based OTP is not supported.

3D Equipment Model Inclusion on Product Detail Page

Users can now view interactive 3D models of parts on PCC, helping them visually confirm the correct part for their equipment before making a purchase. Users can zoom, rotate, and explore parts from different angles, then add them directly to their cart for a more intuitive shopping experience. This enhancement helps users make more confident purchasing decisions by improving part identification and fit verification. As a result, it can reduce uncertainty, minimize incorrect orders and returns, and streamline the purchase process.

Improved Shopping Cart Perfomance

Users will now experience faster shopping cart performance on PCC with progressive cart loading. Cart items are displayed immediately while pricing and availability information is processed in the background, allowing customers to view and interact with their cart more quickly. During the loading process, pricing and availability details will appear once processing is complete. Users can continue to access Quick Order, cart settings, equipment selection, and the feature model action button. Certain actions, such as Proceed to Checkout, quantity updates, promotion code actions, save/share cart, printing, deleting items, and adding item notes, will be temporarily unavailable until pricing and availability processing finishes. This enhancement delivers a smoother, more responsive shopping experience while ensuring accurate pricing and availability information before checkout.

Warranty Registration Experience on Asset Landing Page 

Users can now see when warranty registration is required after entering a serial number on the Asset Landing Page. If the asset's warranty has not been registered, a Register for Warranty option will be displayed, allowing users to start the registration process directly. This enhancement helps Guest and Instant Access users quickly identify and complete required warranty registrations. The prompt is shown only when applicable and does not impact the experience for logged-in users.

Simplified My Equipment Experience

Users can now add, select, and manage equipment more easily through the new Unified My Equipment Drawer on PCC. This centralized experience brings key equipment-related actions into a single location, making it simpler to add equipment, switch between assets, update equipment details, and access actions such as Shop Parts and Parts Diagram. This enhancement creates a more streamlined and consistent experience across devices, helping users quickly find the right parts and information for their equipment while reducing the steps needed to manage their fleet.

Streamline Guest Equipment Experience Across PCC

Guest users can now enjoy a simpler and more streamlined equipment management experience on PCC. Users can easily shop parts for a single piece of equipment, making it quicker to find the right products for their machine. To manage multiple pieces of equipment and save selections across visits, users are encouraged to sign in or create an account. This enhancement reduces the need for repeated setup, improves clarity, and provides a smoother path to a personalized equipment management experience.

Promo Codes Applied Throughout the Purchasing Journey

Users can now apply and retain promo codes throughout checkout without entering a shipping address at the cart stage. Promotional discounts remain visible from the Cart through Payment and Order Summary, providing a more consistent and seamless experience. Additionally, first-time users who add items to their cart will have pickup selected as the default delivery method, reducing setup steps and making it easier to proceed through checkout and take advantage of available promotions.

Enhanced In-Store Quote Details

Users can now view additional information on the In-Store Quote Details page such as Created By and Ordered By fields. The new Created By field displays the sales representative's name from the dealer's ERP system, while the Ordered By field shows the accessing user's personal information, providing greater visibility and alignment with the online quoting experience.

Top Categories Enhanced for Search Engines 

Users can now navigate category pages more easily with an improved browsing experience on PCC. Instead of displaying large numbers of products on top-level categories, users are guided to relevant subcategories to help them find the right products faster. Additionally, a dedicated FAQ section provides helpful information and improves content discoverability. These enhancements make category browsing more intuitive, reduce information overload, and help users quickly locate relevant products and resources.
