C18-based engine architecture: The CG18 shares approximately 90% of its engine hardware with the Cat C18 diesel platform, bringing proven components to a natural gas configuration.

Efficient lean-burn operation: A lean air-fuel ratio promotes fuel efficiency, while lower exhaust temperatures help reduce thermal stress on engine components.

Simplified engine design: An in-line six-engine layout uses fewer parts than comparable V10 and V12 configurations, simplifying maintenance and supporting reliable operation.

Strong motor-starting ability: Up to 1414 skVA at 30% voltage dip provides the capability to start large, connected motors during an outage.

Flexible system expansion: Bolt-on attachments provide options for expanding the system as operating needs change.
