Cat's 3520 is the first-ever EPA-certified natural gas generator sets on the market rated at 2.0 and 2.5 MW for use in 60 Hz power markets. The G3520 is engineered to meet a full suite of critical market standards, including quick starting and loading capability, meeting NFPA 110 Level 1 Type 10 standards as well as being UL 2200 listed.

Caterpillar Unveils New EPA-Certified 1.5-Megawatt G3516 Natural Gas Generator

Caterpillar recently launched the new Cat G3516 Fast Response generator set, a 1.5-megawatt unit that runs on natural gas. The new genset can accept a load from a cold start in as little as 6.5 to 7.5 seconds, the manufacturer says. The G3516 is currently available in a 60-hertz version in North America.
