Cat Certified Rebuild Program  When buying a new machine isn’t an option, Cat® Certified Rebuild brings a machine to like-new performance for a fraction of the price. With Cat Certified Rebuild Programs, you benefit from the multiple lives designed into Cat machines and components at a fraction of the cost of buying new. Foley offers extensive Cat Certified Rebuild programs which incorporate the very latest Cat technology and critical engineering updates into your machine, bringing it new life and saving you money.

Cat Certified Rebuild Program (CCR)

The Cat Certified Rebuild Program offers a like-new machine with a like-new warranty and a new serial number, all at a fraction of the cost of a comparable new machine.

The program starts with a complete machine inspection. Then the machine is completely disassembled and rebuilt from the ground up to include all Cat product updates. More than 350 tests and inspections (plus the automatic replacement of more than 7,000 parts) ensure the same high level of quality as a new Cat machine.

The CCR Program includes the following:

  • Inspection/Evaluation
  • Disassembly
  • Reconditioning
  • Engineering Updates
  • Engine/Transmission Tests
  • Reassembly
  • Performance Testing
  • Repainting
  • New Serial Number
  • Customer Evaluation

 

Cat Certified Power Train Program (CPT) 

The Cat Certified Power Train Program is an option within the Cat Certified Rebuild Program.

The CPT program is a dealer rebuild of the entire power train. This program is similar to the Cat Certified Rebuild program in that the power train components are completely disassembled and all critical engineering updates are incorporated. The CPT includes extended power train coverage through Cat Insurance.

The CPT Program includes the following:

  • Basic engine including fuel, oil and water pump, turbocharger, governor, engine control module, Etc.
  • Transmission including transmission pumps and hydraulic controls
  • Torque converter
  • Drive line including drive shafts and u-joints
  • Differential
  • Transfer gear group
  • Drive axles
  • Final drives
  • Electronic controls and sensors that function to move the machine
  • Radiators and coolers

All Cat Certified Power Train components are to be painted. Complete painting of the machine is an option.
